App Privacy Policy

Effective 5 August 2026 · com.omxus.quantum · Iron Code Studios

Short version: the app collects nothing. Quantum Dice Roller has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. Everything happens on your device.

What this covers

This policy applies to the Quantum Dice Roller app for iOS, published by Iron Code Studios. An Android version is in development; this policy will be updated to cover it when it ships.

What we collect

Nothing personal. We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, device identifiers, or usage analytics. There is no account and no sign-in, because there is nothing to sign in to.

Camera

If you choose the optional Lens QRNG entropy source, the app reads frames from your camera only to sample sensor noise as randomness. Frames are processed entirely on your device, are never saved, shown, or transmitted, and are discarded immediately after their noise is measured. Camera access is optional and stays off unless you enable that source.

Network

To offer verifiable public randomness, the app can request a public pulse from the U.S. NIST Randomness Beacon (beacon.nist.gov). These requests are anonymous, carry no personal information, and are made only when you select the NIST Beacon source. The app has no server of its own.

Roll history

Your roll history and settings are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded. You can clear your history at any time in the app, and deleting the app removes this data from your device.

Purchases

The app offers one optional in-app purchase: a permanent, restorable unlock for the additional entropy sources and dice skins. It is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details; Apple's handling of the transaction is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Quantum Dice Roller is a dice roller suitable for general audiences. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
